the challenge:

In 2020, most offline events could not be organized due to COVID-19 restrictions. However, by taking advantage of digital tools, Action Russia did not cancel or postpone the planned educational and entertaining roadshow for the Dominican Republic and took it online instead with a focus on the travel trade community in Ukraine and Belarus.

our approach

Launch of the dedicated roadshow landing page which included relevant information about the Dominican Republic travel product, networking sections and separate pages on 10 stakeholders, including hotels such as Club Med Ukraine, Hyatt, Barcelo Hotel Group etc.

  • Day 1: Opening with the participation of the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic, the Consul of the Dominican Republic and the main market players of Ukraine and Belarus.
  • Day 2 and 3: Webinars by the Dominican Republic’s Ministry of Tourism and 10 hoteliers. Networking section for interactive communication between co-participants and agents. Quiz for the participants with gifts (souvenirs) from the Ministry and hoteliers.
