Artemis Pnevmatikou

Country manager, Cyprus

Drawing on a long and versatile background in the development and execution of effective strategic communication campaigns, via a combination of ATL, BTL and digital, Artemis currently spearheads our operations in Cyprus as country manager. Following numerous comms roles providing insight into a variety of industries in Cyprus, the US and Canada, Artemis joined Action Global Communications in 2014, handling key local and international clients and campaigns.
Artemis combines in-depth industry knowhow and a visionary approach to effective comms campaigns and innovative projects in a wide range of sectors, including EU projects, corporate communication strategies, new business development, consultancy, crisis management, media training, media relations and public affairs. Given Action Cyprus’ decades long history of working with clients in the travel and tourism sector, Artemis has overseen and managed campaigns for a wide range of clients, including Cyprus Airways, Radisson Blu, Qatar Airways, Celestyal Cruises as well as the Deputy Ministry of Tourism in Cyprus. She is also a member of the board of the Cyprus Advertising Regulation Organisation (ΦΕΔ).

Angeliki Kiofiri

Angeliki joined Action Greece in 2005 and now heads up the Athens based office, leading a growing team of highly qualified and experienced PR professionals. She oversees the development of integrated corporate communication strategies and campaigns for local and international clients in Greece, managing client relationships, crafting comms strategies, building customised teams to meet client needs, and balancing client expectations for campaign executions.

Angeliki has long-standing experience helping clients in the travel and tourism industry engage with local audiences throughout her career. Her track record in the field includes consulting and overlooking PR campaigns for companies such as British Airways, VisitBritain, the British Tourism Authority, Azamara Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Amadeus, Qatar Airways, AirSea Lines, Tus Airways, Swiss Education Group, Lufthansa, BookYouyrWeddingDay.com, and others.

Ekaterina Korneeva

Central Asia & CIS Travel Lead

Ekaterina has vast experience in the field of communications, while her forward-thinking approach and relentless quest for practical solutions helps her successfully oversee clients – mainly in travel, tourism and aviation – for almost a decade. She is responsible for the implementation of integrated communication campaigns, including media relations, digital comms, influencer marketing and crisis management for several clients, including renowned travel brands such as the Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism Office, the Singapore Tourism Board, Etihad Airways, Vietnam Airlines and The Four Seasons Cyprus. Her personal passion for travel also helps her stay ahead of travel trends and shifts within the industry. Ekaterina is well versed in the Central Asian & CIS travel landscape and has an excellent grasp of Russian tourism consumer behaviour. She also maintains strong ties with travel stakeholders such as region wide travel agencies.

Emma Patterson

MENA Travel Lead

With almost a decade of travel industry experience, Emma has spent over four years in the travel
communications sphere.
Emma has worked with blue-chip hotels and airlines, including British Airways and Cathay Pacific, as well
as numerous regional and international destinations, such as the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development
Authority, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, the German National Tourism Board,
and the Cyprus Tourism Organisation.
Plugged into online and offline media preferences and platform-specific content requirements in the
video-first digital era, Emma has a solid understanding of regional travel trends across a range of
nationality and customer profiles.
In addition, Emma’s award-winning experience working with Abu Dhabi Culinary – the industry focused
division of DCT Abu Dhabi – has amplified her abilities to drive tourism and footfall through dining and
food-related promotions.
